Declaring God’s power in the lives of the next generation of young disciples

ADVENTIST YOUNG PEOPLE

We the AY Committee at Agape Temple have planned an exciting year for AY, filled with exciting programs, games and outings.

We are told by the disciple Matthew that Jesus, “grew in wisdom (intellectual and emotional maturity) and stature (physical maturity), in favour with God (spiritual maturity) and man (social maturity).” So it is that the Youth Ministries Department seeks, in these four areas, to support and assist youth leaders, parents and pastors, in declaring God’s power in the lives of the next generation of disciples. (Psalm 71:16 -18)

We minister to:
Tweens ~ 11-14 years, late elementary school age, sometimes called early adolescents.

Teens ~ 14-18 years, the high school age, sometimes called middle adolescents.
Young Adults ~ 18-30 years, the post-high school set, collegians, sometimes called twenty-somethings or late adolescents.”
